The January eLATED Event! “Look at that CodeBaby Character! : Adding interactive characters to digitally engage your eLearning audience”

The eLATED community is thrilled to have Audrey Dalton, head of the eLearning Product Marketing Department at CodeBaby present at our January event.  Audreys presentation is called, Look at that CodeBaby Character! : Adding interactive characters to digitally engage your eLearning audience.  

When and Where: January 28th at the Boiler House. The presentation will begin at 4PM and the eLATED eLIXIR will begin down in the bar area at 5PM.

Presentation Overview:


Canadian/American Company CodeBaby presents compelling reasons for incorporating interactive avatars into eLearning programs. This eLATED group session provides insight as to why interactive characters, specifically 3D CodeBaby Characters, provide the right mix of the human connection and credibility to online learning. In the first part of the session, get your creative juices going as team CodeBaby gives you ideas to advance your eLearning development through the use of avatars as peer coaches, instructors, authority figures, and announcers. Expect to be delighted as team CodeBaby demonstrates how clients use CodeBaby and their learning success impact such as increased engagement, retention, sales and financial savings.

In the second half of the session, the excitement continues, for those that are bold and brave enough, we want you to create your own CodeBaby production in real-time. We'll provide direction and some mystery scripting, and after that, you'll virtually be full-fledged Studio Producers! Lastly, we'll have another special surprise for attendees, so get ready to interact and be prepared to have some fun.

Presenter Bio:

Audrey Dalton joined the CodeBaby Marketing Team, in June of 2009, to lead the eLearning Product Marketing Department.  Audrey served in support and sales roles for most of her professional career. Prior to joining CodeBaby, she focused on instructional design and performance support as a sales training consultant with T. Rowe Price. She drove multiple national initiatives that consistently included rich media practices such as audio, screencasts, webinars, interactive simulations and social learning. In her role at CodeBaby, she’s responsible for all eLearning Marketing functions and sales enablement to drive customer satisfaction & growth. In her spare time, she likes to mix music, bike ride, and spend time with her family residing Europe.
