  • Instructional Designer

    We are looking to add to our growing team of Instructional Designers. We are hiring individuals to join the existing teams working at CFB Kingston, CFB Borden, ON & CFB Gagetown.  You will have the opportunity to develop web-based training courses for the Canadian Military.

    The CALIAN advantage:

    • Full Time – 37.5 hours per week (no over-time)
    • 8-4:30 work day
    • Full benefits package
    • 20 days leave
    • Opportunity to gain experience working closely with DND

    As an ideal candidate you:

    • Like working in a dynamic environment
    • Enjoy working independently on projects
    • A solid background developing storyboards for courseware
    • 5 years+ experience in Instructional Design (conducting needs assessments, producing documentation, developing style guides, conduct beta testing and evaluations etc)
    • 1 year+ specifically working as an ID with eLearning products
    • Will have a College Diploma or University Degree (in any field)
    • Are available to work on client site in Kingston or Borden (north of Toronto)
    • Can working on contract to start ASAP to March 2012, with potential of extension and can also obtain (thru Calian) the Enhanced Reliability Clearance
