Dear Colleagues and friends,

It is with pleasure that we invite you to the launch of the second edition of the "Great Educational Technology Challenge" on Tuesday September the 8th at 9:00 AM. The event will be held in Concordia's fabulous new "Active Learning" room (FB620 / in the Faubourg tower / 1250 Guy street, Montreal). Brian Bronfman from the Peace Grantmakers Network and I will welcome you with refreshment (coffee and muffins).

The Peace Grantmakers Network is proud to welcome the Commission Scolaire de Montréal (CSDM) as a partner to the second edition of the «Great Educational Technology Challenge». The theme of this second edition is “benevolent interventions against bullying”. The goal of this year edition will be to create a digital course, game or video that will help all the different workers / contributors in the K12 school environment (teachers, educators, student supervisors, bus drivers, crossing guard…).

This is a wonderful opportunity for students, teachers and professionals in the field to showcase their talent. This year we also have cash prize available with the contribution of the Birks family foundation, CeLEA, EduConsillium, Studio 7 Communications and Trivantis.

Please do not hesitate if you need more information about the challenge. I will also make myself available to meet students in your classes to introduce the challenge to them.

Hope to see you there.
